This project has transformed of a tired and dated bungalow by updating the internal layout and extending to the rear and side. The external veranda provides an usable outdoor space all year round while protecting the glazed sun-room from the mid-day sun during the summer. During the winter months, sunlight floods into this carefully designed space, passively heating the remainder of the house.
The project was completed in August 2009 and the client are very happy with the 'perfect design'.
Rhys Davies was involved from inception to completion and was responsible for design and planning through to contract administration during construction.
